Section 13.1400 et seq of the Howard County Code requires owners of rental housing complexes in Howard County to: (1) provide written notice the Howard County Housing Commission when the rental complex is offered for sale; and (2) provide a written offer to the Howard County Housing Commission to purchase the rental complex upon the terms provided in the County Code. If you intend to sell your rental complex in Howard County, you must complete and submit the forms provided at the County’s website.
